Global Settings

The Global Settings menu contains the following options.

Settings:

Language Selection – Select the desired language for the BenchVue user interface and Help.
Proxy Settings – Configure a proxy server by specifying the IP address and port number of the proxy server.
E-mail Notification Settings – Specify an e-mail address to send e-mail notifications from BenchVue.
Check for Updates – Check for the latest software updates to the BenchVue software and Instrument Library database.

License Details - View the current status of your software licensing. For more information on software licensing, see BenchVue Licensing Options.

Activate License - Activate previously-purchased licenses. For more information on software licensing, see BenchVue Licensing Options.

Support ID - A computer's Support ID (also known as Host ID) is a unique identifier used to associate a software license to a particular computer on a network (has the form "PCSERNO,SF12345678"). You may need your Host ID to activate any software licenses that you have purchased (see Application License Purchased Separately).
To copy the Host ID to the Windows clipboard, click the button.
